    Too much information or large blocks of text will cause the reader to nod off, which is the last thing you want.

    Using puns and jokes throughout your copy is a great way to keep things light and catch your reader’s attention. Furthermore, if your message is memorable, they are more likely to remember it.

    Tip – Use action words like ‘buy’ or ‘dine’ to influence the action you want the customer to take.

    Add in some visuals

    Using images and GIFs throughout your copy is the most effective way to promote your products or services while also making the content of your email memorable. It’s a win-win situation!

    Call to Action

    You’ve written your email, created a perfect subject line, and decided what you want your customer to do. But now it’s time to notify the customer as well. Enter the Call to Action (CTA).

    A CTA like ‘buy now’ tells the reader exactly what action you want them to take. Combine that with a direct link to your store’s page, and you’re done! You’ve made the buyer’s job much easier.

    Having one main CTA is critical for not confusing the audience and ensuring your message is received.
