Day 2 Highlights IND vs ENG 5th Test: Jasprit Bumrah scythed through England’s top order, helping India take full control of the current fifth Test in Birmingham. After Bumrah struck early to eliminate Alex Lees, the rain interrupted play. The rain prompted an early lunch, with England down 16-1 after three overs.
In the second session, Bumrah added another wicket to his tally by dismissing Zak Crawley. The Indian captain then replaced Ollie Pope, leaving England at 44 for three. Earlier, Bumrah bludgeoned a helpless Stuart Broad for 29 runs, breaking the global record for most runs off a single over in Test cricket by one run, breaking the famous Brian Lara’s accomplishment.
